The southern black hake, cod, or Patagonian toothfish is a species of hake which belongs to the family of the nototenidos. Coloration is dark gray on the back and flanks, clearing in the ventral area. Chilean sea bass, a rarity of our southern waters, is today the white meat fish most luxurious in the world.
